Impressum / Legal Notice Reference

German law (Telemediengesetz – TMG) requires publishers of digital content to provide an Impressum (legal notice). This must include:

  • Name and address of the company/owner
  • Contact details (email, phone)
  • Tax ID / VAT ID
  • Commercial register entry (HRB number)
  • Responsible person for editorial content
  • Data protection officer contact (if applicable)

Link to your Impressum from every page of your website/service. Non-compliance can result in warnings (Abmahnung) and fines.
